Dr. Kenneth Pobo, professor of English and creative writing, has released a new chapbook of poetry titled "When the Light Turns Green," through Spruce Alley Press, a new publishing company started by James Esch, an English and creative writing lecturer at Widener.

Dr. Dipendu Saha, assistant professor of chemical engineering, recently secured an Undergraduate New Investigator Research Grant from the American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund for his research on methane adsorption in micro-mesoporous carbons.

Widener Alumna Shanna Williams was recently named director of Social Work Counseling Services (SWCS) at Widener University. She received her bachelors of social work in 2006 and both her masters of social work and of human sexuality education in 2010.
