Administration

In 2004 after a comprehensive and inclusive planning process, Widener University adopted a strategic plan to guide the administration of the university through 2015. The strategic plan provides a transparent platform to assess the university’s administration.

At Widener University, the strategic plan is a living document, which serves as a compass for every individual employee and administrative unit. Each administrative unit within the university also adheres to a unit-specific strategic plan, with goals, objectives, and action steps that align with the university’s strategic plan.

At regular intervals, university administrators report on their progress in achieving unit level and university wide strategic goals and objectives. The university administration reviewed and updated the entire Widener strategic plan in 2008.
