Widener PRIDE Bucks Deposit Online

Students, parents, and employees are able to make deposits for a Campus1Card PRIDE Bucks account using a secure credit card payment (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover) or ACH checking or saving account payment.  The link to the Widener University PRIDE Bucks Deposit web site and more information on this new service can be found on the Campus1Card web page.  Please note, the University will no longer accept credit card payments in person, by mail or phone for PRIDE Bucks accounts.

Direct Deposit of Student Tuition Account Refunds

Widener University is pleased to offer direct deposit to our students.  This new service will allow students to receive semester tuition account refunds more quickly.  Additionally, students will have the added convenience of email notification when funds are transferred out and direct deposit allows for immediate access to funds (according to each banks policies).  This new service is now Widener University's preferred method of delivery. Beginning Summer 2011, students who do not choose direct deposit will have their refund checks mailed to the address on record at the University, there will be no pick up of refund checks in person.  Contact Enrollment Services or your campus Bursar Office if you have questions. An email to students with instructions for sign up  was sent out by Enrollment Services.

Financial Literacy Online for Widener Students

Financial literacy is an essential life skill for the 21st century.  This is especially important for college students.  Widener University has partnered with the National Endowment for Financial Education, an independent, nonprofit foundation, to educate our students on a broad range of financial topics and empower them to make positive and sound decisions during their college years and after graduation to reach their financial goals.  The CashCourse financial counseling web site provides information on credit and debit cards, budgeting, paying for college, preventing identity theft, the importance of maintaining good credit, and saving for the future among other topics.

Direct Deposit is Available for Student Workers

Did you know that direct deposit is available for student employees at Widener?  Student workers can sign up for direct deposit of payroll earnings into their checking or savings account.  Ask about payroll direct deposit the next time you visit Lipka Hall.  Direct Deposit Forms can also be downloaded from our Forms and Publications page on the SFS website.   The forms must be returned to the Widener Payroll Office.
