The PMC Museum links the legacy of the distinguished PMC Corps of Cadets of Widener’s past with the promises of present graduating classes. Inside the PMC Museum, you’ll find exhibits of sabres, uniforms, scrapbooks, newspapers, and yearbooks.
You'll be taken back to a time when cadets lived by the Regulation Book, when rooks were in training, and polo was the sport that brought PMC national prominence.
Located, fittingly, in a wing of Widener's Alumni Auditorium, the PMC Museum in partnership with the Widener University Archives, gathers, preserves, and protects the artifacts and memorabilia of Widener’s honorable military history as the Pennsylvania Military Academy and Pennsylvania Military College.
Opened to the public in 2000, the PMC collection includes an array of authentic uniforms, caps, and trophies, as well as special exhibits for athletics, cadet life, and PMC alumni achievements. Current exhibits include the:
- Pershing Rifle Drill Team
- PMC Band
- Boardwalk Bowl
- Distinguished Alumni
Vintage films, photographs, and documents continue to be converted to digitized formats and made accessible to alumni and their descendants, the university, surrounding communities, and visitors and researchers nationwide.
