FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I have a question about my student account. What do I do?
A: We encourage you to contact the Office of the Bursar as soon as possible with any questions about your account. We can help clarify information on your account statement. Please contact our office at 610-499-4161 or send an email to busoffmc@mail.widener.edu.
Q: When are bills due?
A: Payment due dates can be found by clicking the following link that corresponds to your particular program for the Guide to Fees and Payment. If you have any questions regarding your statement of account, please send a message to busoffmc@mail.widener.edu or call 610-499-4161.
Note: Those wishing to view an online statement of account, make a payment online or set up a Widener University Payment Plan online must have the permission of the student to do so. The student must set up an "authorized user" account.
This may be done after logging onto CampusCruiser, clicking on the "WebAdvisor" tab, and selecting "My Online Student Account" from the menu to the left of the screen. The student will need their seven-digit account number and their PIN number issued to them.
Q: How do I become financially cleared for a semester?
A: Students typically have accounts settled through a combination of financial aid and student payments. Financial clearance for each student is done on a semester basis. When a student is financially cleared, he/she is eligible to add/drop classes within the period allowed by the registrar and is also eligible to be part of class rosters.
Financial clearance for a student is based on whether the student’s account balance is fully covered through approved aid and/or student payments or, if the student is using the payment plan option, and is current with his/her payments.
Q: Where can I find my ID and PIN number to access my online student account?
A: Your student ID number can be found on your statement of account. You must contact Enrollment Managment Services at enrollmentservices@widener.edu or call 610-499-4161 in order to request to receive a reissue of your PIN number.
Q: What happens if my payment is late?
A: If your student account balance is not paid by the published due dates you will be assessed a $125.00 late payment fee. In addition, you may have holds placed on your future semester registrations, grades and academic transcripts.
Q: Where should I mail payments and correspondence?
A: Mail payments to the following address:
