Student Affairs
As the name implies, Student Affairs is the organizational unit that is concerned with the daily care, feeding, governance, health, and well-being of all of Widener students whether they are living and learning on campus, or commuting.
Once students move into their residence halls (ok, dorms) and start attending classes on campus, the staff of Student Affairs become the best source of news, information, and guidance about all things Widener and Widener Pride for students — and their parents.
From a business perspective, Student Affairs includes the following organizational units and working groups:
- Parent Network
- Residence Life
- Student Life
Facilities operated under the aegis of Student Affairs include:
- University Center
- Wellness Center
The staff in Student Affairs work to see that everything done in the classroom, in residence halls, in co-curricular programs, in relationships, and in knowledge gained reflects the Widener experience: academic quality and career preparation and a commitment to community service. From the first Pride Experience to the pride of graduation day, they will provide the tools and resources for students to be their best selves and achieve their potential.
