The Widener University Biochemistry program explores the dynamic interface between Biology and Chemistry. Biochemistry students develop an awareness of the unique principles of biochemistry in a supportive environment that fosters problem solving skills, critical thinking, and independence.
Biochemistry majors take foundation courses in biology, chemistry, math and physics as well as in biochemistry. They also participate in several biochemistry seminars and design and carry out senior thesis research in close consultation with a faculty member.
