Widener connects students with a variety of long-term study abroad vendors, providing access to almost any place in the world. Students who have studied abroad for a full semester have called it “the best experience” of college! Spending extended time in another part of the world also provides you with a whole new perspective about life’s possibilities. 

Widener’s Office for Global Engagement will work closely with you to help select the program that is the right fit so you can get the most out of your study abroad experience. Meet with your advisor early in your academic studies to figure out the best time to go abroad for your program of study. Plan early as you may need to save electives to use abroad.

All students are required to attend pre-departure orientation the semester before the study abroad experience to obtain necessary forms for registration.
