Center for Extended Learning

Widener University's Center for Extended Learning was established to specifically concentrate on the needs of adult learners.

Associate and bachelor degrees, as well as noncredit corporate and occupational training programs are available with flexible schedules and various course delivery format options including: evening, weekend, traditional classroom, online, and hybrid courses.  And, through Widener’s portfolio assessment program and various corporate and association partnerships, students can potentially be granted credit from prior learning experiences.

The following undergraduate degrees are currently available through the Center for Extended Learning and follow a rolling admissions process. Tuition and fees for these programs are different from traditional full-time day student tuition. If you do not see your program of interest listed, please contact us to discuss the probability of other majors we may offer in the very near future, as we continue to expand our offerings.

Noncredit Programs

In addition to degree programs, the Center for Extended Learning offers noncredit career training programs through a partnership with Ed2Go, and noncredit customized corporate and organization programs based on industry specific needs.

Meet with an Advisor

We welcome prospective credit and noncredit extended learning students to visit the center for additional information, and encourage students to meet with an academic advisor to discuss and review their individualized education and career path.

The Center for Extended Learning is open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. staffed with professionals who are eager to support students throughout their educational journey.
