Widener-Crozer Allied Health Partnership, Extended Learning
Widener University's Center for Extended Learning and Crozer-Chester Medical Center have partnered to offer two joint degree programs in allied health. This partnership allows students in these programs the opportunity to apply for financial aid.
- Bachelor of science in allied health for diagnostic medical sonography (ultrasound)
- Associate of science in allied health for radiologic technology
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiologic Technology programs enable students to earn both a Widener degree with training for a national certification in ARDMS for ultrasound or in ARRT for radiologic technology.
Ultrasound cohorts begin in September and January, and admissions are on a rolling basis. The radiologic technology cohorts begin in January and July with admissions deadlines of February 15 for July and August 1 for January.
Prerequisite academic courses are necessary for admission to both programs, which can be taken at Widener University's Center for Extended Learning in the evening or online.
