Widener University's Center for Extended Learning and Crozer-Keystone Health System have partnered to offer two joint degree programs in allied health. This partnership allows enrolled students the opportunity to sit for their certifications, receive an associate's or bachelor's degree from Widener, and apply for financial aid.
- Associate of science in allied health for radiologic technology
- Bachelor of science in allied health for diagnostic medical sonography (ultrasound)
The Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Radiologic Technology programs train students for the national certification in ARDMS for ultrasound, or ARRT for radiologic technology.
Ultrasound cohorts begin in September and January with rolling admissions. The radiologic technology cohorts begin in January and July with admissions deadlines of February 15 for July and August 1 for January.
Prerequisite academic courses are necessary for admission to both programs, which can be taken at Widener University's Center for Extended Learning in the evening or online.
