Friday Evening Sessions
Friday evening sessions are held monthly, usually on the first Friday of each month (see schedule below).
Each session lasts about one hour, although visitors need not stay for the entire period. Friday sessions run 8 p.m. to 9 p.m, except those in May and June, which are later because of the late sunset at that time of year.
Note that Eastern Daylight Savings Time (EDT) ends on the first Sunday of November and resumes on the second Sunday in March. Eastern Standard Time (EDT) applies for all dates in between.

Reservations are not required, but are requested so that we know how many people to expect and also so that we can inform you if the Widener Observatory is closed due to inclement weather.
