Widener graduate business programs are designed to give you the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully meet real-world business challenges.

And because Widener University’s graduate business programs are designed for working professionals, you can earn your degree part time by taking evening and Saturday courses.

The School of Business Administration offers several graduate degree programs to help you take your career to the next level:

• Master of Business Administration: Widener’s MBA program is built upon the idea that people learn best by doing. The rigorous program guides you through the philosophy of business, and teaches you the practical, real-world know-how that companies seek. You'll gain critical knowledge of how companies employ these principles. The coursework is integrated to help you gain interdisciplinary perspectives. This way, you'll understand how each part of business functions, and how to make them work together best. To enhance your professional skills, you will have the opportunity to participate in career development workshops.

• Master of Science in Human Resource and Organizational Leadership: If you are a manager in human resources, you must be able to evaluate organizational and human capital, develop plans to manage and improve performance, and demonstrate leadership skills. The MS in human resource and organizational leadership can help you acquire these competencies and advance your career.

• Master of Science in Business Process Innovation: Whether you are a business or an information technology professional, our program gives you the cross-functional perspectives necessary to manage today’s process-oriented organizations. The focus is on the connections and interactions between IT and business. Our emphasis is on business process management, a discipline based in both technology and management. Our program prepares students for careers leading organizations in the effective use of information systems and process management methodologies to achieve organizational goals.

• Master of Science in Taxation and Financial Planning: If you are a practicing accountant, attorney, recent accounting major, or non-accountant who wants enter the field of taxation and financial planning, you may want to explore the MS in taxation and financial planning. When you graduate, you will be eligible to sit for the Certified Financial Planner examination, and you will benefit from the program’s 25-year history and its extensive alumni network in the area that leads to impressive job placements.

The School of Business Administration also offers eight certificate programs in various specializations and four dual degrees that pair an MBA with advanced degrees in engineering, clinical psychology, law and medicine.
