Biography

Dr. Pobo teaches courses in literature and creative writing. His specialty is poetry writing. His courses include: American Poetry 1945-present, Literature of the American Minority Experience, introductory and advanced poetry writing, and advanced prose writing. His most recent poetry collections are Introductions (2003) and Ordering: A Season in My Garden (2001).

Dr. Pobo received the prestigious Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching at Widener in 2007.
