Biography
Dr. Robinson is Associate Professor of English; he teaches mostly eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature, specializing in Romantic-era poetry. He has published articles on such authors as Samuel Taylor Coleridge, William Wordsworth, and Mary Wollstonecraft. He has co-edited A Century of Sonnets: The Romantic-Era Revival, 1750-1850 for Oxford University Press (1999) and an edition of Lyrical Ballads for Houghton Mifflin’s New Riverside series (2002). He is Publications Editor for the College English Association and helms the CEA’s scholarly journal, The CEA Critic. He is also the singer-songwriter-bassist for the rock band Milton and the Devils Party.
