Graduate Certificates, College of Arts & Sciences

request infoWidener’s College of Arts & Sciences offers several certificate programs as a cost and time-effective way to earn graduate credentials that can help students make a career move or take the next step up in their career ladder.

visitCertificate programs also allow busy, working adult students to explore graduate study without yet making a full commitment to a longer degree program—certificate courses can be transferred to a number of master’s applydegree programs should students find they want to pursue their studies.

Our graduate study certificates each require the completion of four courses with a B or better within three years. The programs each have a different thematic focus aimed to help students complement and expand their undergraduate degrees, work, and life experiences.

Certificate Options

We offer several different certificates that combine graduate courses thematically; many courses overlap in more than one certificate program. Students enrolled in a certificate course who become excited about another certificate option for which the course counts may change their enrollment to that certificate program.

The flexibility of the certificate programs gives students the ability to customize a path just right for them.
