Flexible Learning Environment

The MPA program is tailored to both working professionals and recent graduates. Courses are offered on weekday evenings on the main campus in Chester, and students can customize their educational experience to meet their professional needs by choosing from either three concentrations or selecting elective courses that best fit their career goals.

Distinguished Faculty

Widener brings in working professionals to teach several core and elective courses in the MPA program. Many of the professors are currently working in senior leadership positions in the metropolitan area, such as Chester County Chief Operating Officer Mark Rupsis or Marianne Grace, Delaware County Executive Director. Both faculty members give students the ability to examine current trends affecting the public sector.

Career-Orientated Degree

Program advisors work with Widener's Career Services to find the best internships and job placement opportunities in the Delaware Valley. The career-minded focus puts students ahead of the game when searching for careers upon graduation.
