Biography

Professor Dyer teaches courses in applied linguistics, intercultural communication, and professional writing.  She is the Director of the Writing Center and the Director of the Study Abroad Program.  Professor Dyer's research interests include contrastive rhetoric, second language acquisition, second language pedagogy, writing and critical thinking, and writing center pedagogy.
