Biography

Professor Esch teaches courses in Composition, Literature, Creative Writing, and Professional Writing.  He serves as co-advisor to The Blue Route, Widener's online journal of undergraduate creative writing.  As a professional freelance writer, he has widespread experience in journalism, copywriting, technical writing, and editing.  Professor Esch edits the web-based literary magazine Turk's Head Review and has published poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction in print and online journals.  His scholarly interests include popular culture, digital humanities, electronic publishing, and the teaching of writing and literature.
