Clubs & Co-Curricular Activities, Modern Languages
Students in Widener’s modern languages program take part in a variety of clubs and co-curricular activities designed to enhance their academic experience outside of class.
Here are just a few of the ways in which students stay connected to their language of interest outside of the classroom.
The French Club is about expanding cultural awareness of the francophone people. The group is open to all Widener students with varying levels of French-speaking abilities. For information regarding club activities and membership, contact Dr. Stephanie Schechner at email@example.com
Italian Club is a student organization for those who have an interest in Italy and Italian and Italian-American food, culture, and history. Club events have included dinners, Italian Food Night, musical events, trips, and excursions. The current president is Stephanie Polizzi. For information, please contact Dr. T. Benedetti at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Spanish Club exists as a way to bring together all students with an interest in Spanish through a variety of social and cultural activities related to the Hispanic world. El Club de Español is always looking for new members. Contact Ms. LaIndia Santos-Phillips, President of the Spanish Club, at email@example.com for more information.
