Flexible Curriculum

The digital media informatics program provides both broad and targeted perspectives on the field of informatics and helps students develop unique skills that can be adapted to the rapidly changing computer and media environment. Students can choose classes from four specialized concentrations: (1) audio-visual, (2) graphics, mobile, & web development, (3) gaming & artificial intelligence, and (4) digital writing.

Freedom Hall, which marked its opening in 2013, houses communication studies, computer science, and digital media informatics. The facility features an expansive digital television studio, three editing suites, top-of-the-line video and audio equipment, computer labs, and more.
