My Widener Experience
why did you decide to major in environmental science?
I decided to major in environmental science because I have had a passion for the environment for as long as I can remember. I find nature very fascinating, and I love the fact that a lot of the natural processes of the environment are still unknown.
what is your favorite memory of widener?
My favorite memory of Widener has to be my travels to Peru and Costa Rica for research projects. I will remember those experiences for the rest of my life, and I am hopeful to be
able to return to those places.
My Professional Experience
what advice would you give a prospective student considering your major?
I would recommend getting involved with research as soon as possible. Research helps students get more organized and use their knowledge in a practical sense.
how has widener prepared you for life after college?
The research at Widener prepared me for life after college because I can work independently and think for myself, and I like to think my time management skills came from doing research at Widener.
