Clubs & Organizations, Physics & Astronomy

Students in the physics program at Widener have the ability to get involved in various clubs and organizations on campus to be part of the community, develop leadership skills, and make a difference locally, nationally, and internationally.

Sigma Pi Sigma

Sigma Pi Sigma is the official honors society of the physics profession. Membership is restricted to colleges and universities that offer a strong physics major. At Widener, students who show outstanding scholarship in physics are elected.

Physics and Astronomy Club

The Physics and Astronomy Club brings together students and faculty who have shared knowledge and interests in current physics topics. Students in this club have access to Widener's Observatory.
