The School of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
This professional accreditation places Widener among the top one third of college business schools in the U.S. and Europe.
Widener’s School of Business Administration received its initial accreditation by the AACSB International in 1997. Following a three-day review in February 2008 by the AACSB Maintenance of Accreditation Committee, Widener was granted accreditation for another full term of five years.
To achieve accreditation, business programs must satisfy the expectations of a wide range of quality standards relating to strategic management of resources, interactions of faculty and students in the educational process and achievement of learning goals in degree programs. These standards are mission-linked.
The Widener University School of Business Administration also received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation Healthcare Management Education, or CAHME, in 1982.
