Business Process Innovation

Widener's AACSB accredited program prepares students to integrate people, technology and process to lead innovation. In today's fast-paced and constantly changing business world, agile processes are crucial for creating and sustaining success.

Agility is achieved through a competitive strategy and business process excellence by coordinating the latest thinking in data design, knowledge capture, change management, and project management. Our comprehensive framework incorporates all levels of process management from strategy through implementation. This holistic approach to business process management provides both IT professionals and business managers the knowledge and skills to substantially increase business value. Competencies developed in the program have propelled the careers of graduates.

The curriculum employs the latest business process management research complemented by state of the art industry practice. Students work with faculty members and industry partners who are global leaders in the discipline of business process management. Their accomplishments include authoring books, leading BPM initiatives in a Fortune 500 companies, publishing research, training executives and winning teaching awards.

Special Features

This unique program is the only business process management masters degree available in the Philadelphia region. Widener University is a member of the SAP University Alliance. In selected courses, students use SAP software as part of their 'hands-on' learning experience. Students completing a minimum of three SAP related courses earn a Certificate of Recognition from SAP. Widener University School of Business Administration was named a Center of Excellence for Business Process Innovation by SAP AG and Software AG (formerly IDS Scheer).

The MSBPI courses are taught in a flexible delivery format. Classes are offered online and on campus. Students may choose to attend class, participate from off-campus by logging in, or view the session asynchronously at their convenience. Attendance restrictions may apply to international students.
