Strong Industry Relationships

You will benefit from the expert professionals who teach and guest speak in the program. The strong connections to industry will give you the opportunity to interact with leaders. You will also benefit from your peers in the classroom who bring their perspective to discussions and projects.

Relevant Coursework

Widener is the home of the Journal of Financial Service Professionals. This 68-year old journal is a member benefit of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP), one of the oldest and largest financial planning organizations in the world. All students in the master of taxation and financial planning program are required to join the SFSP (at student rates). Utilization of SFSP resources in courses is an example of how faculty members incorporate relevant issues in the program.
