Widener-Crozer Allied Health Program
Widener-Crozer Allied Health Partnership
Widener University's Continuing Studies Division and Crozer-Chester Medical Center have recently partnered to offer two new joint degree programs in allied health:
- Bachelor of Science in Allied Health for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasound)
- Associate of Science in Allied Health for Radiologic Technology
These two programs enable students to earn both a Widener degree and training for a national certification (ARDMS for ultrasound, ARRT for radiologic technology). Ultrasound cohorts will begin in September and January, and radiologic technology cohorts will begin in January and July.
Prerequisite academic courses are necessary for admission to both programs and can be taken at Widener University's Continuing Studies Division in the evening or online. Transfer credit is also accepted. Financial aid and veteran benefits are available for all eligible radiologic technology and ultrasound Continuing Studies students.
