Shana DeRosa is the Coordinator of Recruitment & Outreach for the Continuing Studies Division in the School of Education, Innovation, and Continuing Studies at Widener University. She also serves as Academic Advisor to the part-time undergraduate adult students within the Continuing Studies Division.

Shana has been President of Phillycolleges.org (The Greater Philadelphia Alliance of Colleges & Universities) since July 2010 and is serving her third term on the Board of Directors for this organization. Among the awards she has received are the Greater Philadelphia Alliance of Colleges and Universities Recognition Award for exemplary leadership and service, the Howard C. Henderson Award for highest undergraduate GPA, the Phi Kappa Phi Undergraduate Student Research Prize, and the Comcast Corporation Prize in Communication Studies.

Shana received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Widener University in May 2006 and was co-valedictorian of her graduating class. She received her Master of Education degree in Student Personnel Services and Counseling in Higher Education from Widener in December 2010.
