Don Devilbiss began his career at Widener University in 1967 as Director of Student Activities at Brandywine College on the Delaware Campus. Since that time, Don has served as Director of Counseling and Assistant Dean, Brandywine College; Assistant Dean and Director, University College, Main Campus; Acting Dean, University College, and is currently Associate Dean in the School of Education, Innovation, and Continuing Studies.
Don was the recipient of the William David Eckard Jr. Award (administrative) in 2009, and in 2012 was honored with the Alumni's R. Kelso Carter Award given to a non-alumni who has brought honor to the University through his or her acts and accomplishments.
He earned a BS degree from Shippensburg University and an MEd degree from the University of Delaware in Higher Education Counseling.
