Master of Science in Engineering, Electrical Engineering

Concentrations

  • Modern Communication

The electrical engineering department provides an extensive concentration on modern communications. Since communication technology is moving very rapidly and bringing new devices every year, it is imperative that students should have a solid understanding of modern devices.
Our courses provide a strong foundation in computer, satellite, mobile, and wireless communications.

Dual Degrees

Students may elect to pursue a dual specialization while achieving their master of science in engineering degree. In such cases, students must satisfy all requirements for both programs.

Flexibility for the Working Professional

Classes meet one night per week and are streamed over the Internet live and archived for later viewing. This allows us to maintain the classroom relationship between student and teacher that facilitates learning, but also permits a student to stay up to date with coursework while traveling or when unexpected work conflicts arise. Located at the intersection of I-95 and I-476, Widener is easily accessible from within the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
