Professional Societies & Organizations, Electrical Engineering

The electrical engineering program fully supports honors and professional societies. These experiences allow students to enhance communication and networking between peers, faculty, and industrial professionals. Additionally, clubs and organizations can provide students with leadership opportunities.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE)

The IEEE stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. It is a professional society that covers nearly every field of electrical engineering. This society works to enhance technological innovation and provide excellence for the benefit of humanity. This society publishes transactions, journals, and magazines and also sets standards for telecommunication products and computer systems. Our students get valuable benefits from the latest research and augment their technical knowledge. The IEEE also provides career opportunities to our students.

Tau Beta Pi and other Honor Societies

Tau Beta Pi and other honor societies help our students to boost their resumes; not only do they reflect academic achievement, but they also aid in building leadership and character. These honor societies provide scholarships, grants, networking, and career opportunities to our students.
