Widener University Delaware Law School — the only law school in the state — is an integral part of Delaware's unique, collegial legal community renowned for civility and respect within the bench and bar.

Expert faculty are dedicated to your success as a student and future lawyer and include 15 judges, among them a retired justice of the Delaware Supreme Court.
Pre Law magazine ranks Delaware Law School 15th in the country for the percentage of law graduates – 23.5 percent – who secured prestigious judicial clerkships. It also recognized Delaware Law on its "Top Law Schools for Trial Advocacy" list.
Our top-ranked programs also include the LLM degree which has been named to three impressive "best" lists for "Law School Experience," "Career Opportunities," and "Value".
Students gain valuable experience editing two legal journals, including the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, ranked 34th among 449 student-edited, specialized law reviews for citations overall.
