Alumni

Alumni of Widener's School of Nursing are members of WUNA, Widener University Nursing Alumni WUNA is made up of more than 5,600 individuals who demonstrate civic and professional leadership, productive scholarship, and clinical expertise in many practice settings in the United States and abroad.

WUNA is an active group that supports our students in a variety of ways. Alumni share professional experiences with students both in classroom, clinical, and social settings. Also, our alumni volunteer along with students at the Widener Community Nursing Clinic, recruitment events, and military service projects. Many of our nursing alumni have been featured speakers at WUNA events and lectures nationally and globally and serve in key leadership roles for professional nursing organizations.

A newsletter highlighting student and alumni educational activities is sent out electronically by the School of Nursing. We are very interested in hearing from you. Widener Magazine is also published and is available online. We ask alumni to let us know your areas of interest for continuing education topics and to inform us of exciting work, projects, and events you're participating in.

 

  

Continuing Education

Opportunities for continuing education are designed to offer assistance to both alumni and non-alumni registered nurses in meeting certification and licensing requirements. The Widener University School of Nursing offers a number of continuing education programs both on and off campus.
