Clinical Experiences

The Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist program provides students with a variety of clinical experiences including participation in wellness programs through caring for the adult-gerontology patient in the emergency and critical care settings.

Certification Examinations

The Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialist program prepares students to take either of the following two certification examinations: The American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) ACCNS-AG certification, and the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) AGCNS-BC certification.
