When it comes to academic and leadership opportunities, it shouldn't be business as usual.
Widener University provides business degree programs through the School of Business Administration with a mission to prepare students for successful careers and leadership positions in business.
- We provide a challenging educational environment that promotes lifelong professional and personal growth through service and experiential learning.
- Our faculty possess cutting-edge industry knowledge and actively support students in their professional journey.
- Our alumni can be found at prestigious companies like Vanguard, The Boeing Company, JPMorgan Chase, KPMG, and Comcast.
Co-op and Internships
We tap into our extensive alumni and business network to place students in co-op and internships that enable them to earn valuable job experience and a salary, and still graduate in four years. Past opportunities include the international accounting firm PWC, the Philadelphia Eagles, KPMG, Wawa, Chemours, and Aramark.
Students can make the most of Widener's strong networking opportunities through the Executive in Residence program, events and workshops on campus, and business discipline-specific clubs and organizations.
Business students provide consulting services and educational workshops to local businesses and entrepreneurs through the Widener Small Business Development Center.
Students expand their learning experiences by studying abroad in countries like Spain, China, Costa Rica, and Italy.
At the School of Business Administration, in addition to academic preparation, we focus on the development of professional skills which today's employers demand.
Widener's School of Business Administration holds accreditation from the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, the premier accrediting body for business education. Only five percent of business schools worldwide hold this accreditation. Widener is also designated as a "Principles for Responsible Management Education" (PRME) university for adopting the principles of the United Nations Global Compact and seeking to develop a new generation of business leaders capable of managing the complex challenges faced by business and society in the 21st century.
