Students in the master of business process innovation program may benefit from membership in two professional organizations, the Association of Business Process Management Professionals (ABPMP) and the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
These organizations provide valuable certifications and services, such as webinars and publications. Attendance at meetings provide students with the opportunity to network and learn from professionals in business process and operations management.
ABPMP is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to the advancement of business process management concepts and practices. Membership includes a guide to the Business Process Management Common Body of Knowledge (BPM CBOK®). This organization houses the internationally recognized professional certification program, Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP®).
APICS is the leading professional association for supply chain and operations management and the premier provider of research, education, and certification programs that elevate end-to-end supply chain excellence, innovation, and resilience. APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designations set the industry standard.
