My Widener Experience
why did you decide to pursue an mba at widener?
I decided to pursue my MBA and concentration in BPM because I realized the importance of higher education assisting in my desired career path. Business process management became my concentration because I noticed a trend in current business practices to be more agile and streamline processes, so I wanted to be ahead of the game.
who was your favorite professor at widener? why?
My favorite professors were Dr. Thorpe and Dr. Antonucci. Both challenged me to be
the best and were able to clearly present all information. Their classes were work
intensive, but because they were so concise and clear with presenting the information
during lectures, I found the assignments challenging but interesting.
My Professional Experience
what do you like most about your current position?
I am able to use the concepts I learned in my BPM concentration directly in my current role. I see the return on investment already from obtaining my MBA with a concentration in BPM.
what advice would you give a prospective student considering your graduate program?
Make sure you take the time to get the most out of each class. Be sure to network when you are in class, because making connections at Widener can help your career down the road.
