The mission of the Center for Experience Management in Tourism and Hospitality is to develop civically engaged leaders for the global tourism industry through an emphasis on service management and experiential learning.

The Center has equipped global industry leaders with skills and experiences to succeed for more than three decades. Our alumni can be found at prestigious organizations like Marriott International and The Union League, as well as running their own businesses.

Through our undergraduate program, students:

  • Learn from nationally-recognized faculty,
  • Participate in our award-winning co-op program,
  • Have opportunities to travel and explore tourism and hospitality across the country and around the globe;
  • and work in state-of-the-art facilities, like the Marriott Dining Room.

Distinguished Accreditation

ACPHAWidener's Center for Experience Management in Tourism and Hospitality holds accreditation from the prestigious Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration (ACPHA) and is the only accredited program in the Philadelphia region. This is a celebrated achievement as ACPHA has accredited less than 70 programs in hospitality management.
