Cooperative Education: Tourism and Hospitality Management
Your degree will lead to career opportunities in a region with rich ties to the tourism and hospitality industry. With close proximity to Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington D.C., you will have countless opportunities to trade in-class lectures for real-world experiences.
Summer Field Experiences
During your sophomore and junior summers, you will step into two distinct roles for two unique organizations. You will have a chance to work anywhere in the world, in any area of the industry you desire—as long as you experience more than one area of the industry. When you begin your senior year, you will have earned more than 800 hours of paid real-world experience.
Cooperative Education and Leadership Development Series Program
In this award-winning program, you will prepare for your career through a combination of study-based employment, classroom learning, and self-exploration. You will accumulate at least 600 paid working hours as you solve real-world problems in the tourism and hospitality industry. During the classroom component, you will join a small cohort of students for a weekly leadership development seminar.
