My Widener Experience
why did you decide to major in elementary education: the middle years at widener?
I decided to major in middle school education because I wanted to make an impact on society. Teaching allows me to share my passion of mathematics and science to middle school students whom are impressionable.
who was your favorite professor at widener? why?
Two of my favorite professors at Widener are Professor Bowes and Professor McHenry. Both of these professors allowed me to grow and develop leadership skills while in the education program.

what advice would you give a prospective student considering your major?
Be ready to start your career during your freshmen year at Widener. In the education program, field experience starts early, which allows you to develop leadership skills in the classroom.
how has widener prepared you for life after college?
Widener has prepared me for life after college by allowing me to take ownership and freedom of my education, as well as teaching me the leadership skills needed for my profession both in and out of the classroom.
