It is important to understand that your clinical field will be considered your primary career identity and your knowledge of human sexuality will be a specialization within that field. We encourage you to learn more about the practice and ethics frameworks used by each clinical field and learn which profession is right for you.

For more information, visit the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the American School Counselor Association (ASCA).
