Curriculum, Master of Education, Human Sexuality Studies

The curriculum at the Center for Human Sexuality Studies offers a few unique features.

  • All students receive a broad training in the foundations of human sexuality from a bio-psycho-social perspective.
  • The methods sequence in each track offers specific and concrete skill-building for the effective delivery of sex therapy or sexuality education.
  • The curriculum addresses the affective and dispositional realms, training students in emotional literacy techniques that research has shown inform practice excellence.
