The Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic provides compassionate and cost-effective physical therapy care to uninsured and underinsured members of the Chester community.

Our clinic is completely student-led, meaning that graduate students in physical therapy and occupational therapy programs fill leadership positions at all levels to ensure that the clinic runs smoothly. Widener’s students also take charge of the treatment of clients, giving them the opportunity to broaden their range of clinical experience before they graduate.

Providing Professional Care

Under the supervision of a licensed therapist, our graduate physical therapy and occupational students offer clients of all ages the same care as a professionally run clinic for a nominal fee.

Students evaluate and treat dysfunctions such as:

  • Muscle
  • Bone
  • Joint
  • Coordination
  • Balance
  • Movement

Client Information

Clients must be uninsured or have exceeded their allotment of physical/occupational therapy as designated by their healthcare provider to receive treatment. Clients must also present a physician's referral at the time of their initial visit to the clinic.
