Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic
Our Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic provides compassionate and cost-effective physical therapy care to uninsured and underinsured members of the Chester community. Our clinic runs solely off of grants and donations and the efforts of students studying physical therapy and volunteers to deliver cost-free care.
Our clinic is completely student-led, meaning that graduate students in Widener's Institute for Physical Therapy Education fill leadership positions at all levels to ensure that the clinic runs smoothly. Our students also take charge of the treatment of clients, giving them the opportunity to broaden their range of clinical experience before they graduate. Opened September 15, 2009,

Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, our physical therapy graduate students evaluate and treat clients of all ages with muscle, bone, joint, coordination, balance, or movement dysfunction. We offer clients the same care as a professionally run clinic for a nominal fee-for-service.
Hours of operation are: Monday through Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday nights are designated as Kids' Night for the treatment of pediatric clients.
Clients must be uninsured or have exceeded their allotment for physical therapy as designated by their healthcare provider to receive treatment. Clients must also present a physician referral at the time of their initial visit to the clinic.
For client inquiries, call 610-499-4585 or e-mail email@example.com.
