IGCP Alumni Newsletter

Recent Issue: October '17

Please read our newsletter to find out what has been happening here at IGCP during the last calendar year.

Welcome to all alumni, future alumni, and prospective alumni of the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology (IGCP)! We have had a vibrant community of students, alumni, and faculty for five decades, and are proud to celebrate our success.

The Alumni Council is here to serve all of your needs as members of the IGCP community. IGCP, as you doubtless know, is the longest running doctor of psychology (PsyD) program in the world, and has totaled over 1,100 graduates since its founding in 1970.

These graduates, whether from the program's time at Hahnemann or at Widener, have done and continue to do amazing things, making vast contributions on scales both large and small.

Alumni Council is working with IGCP Director Dr. Sanjay Nath to achieve his strategic vision of excellence, community, and service for the Institute. We are dedicating ourselves to improving the IGCP community specifically by building strong relationships and communication among alumni, students, and the Institute.

This also means that we strive for excellence and that we strive to highlight our graduates' pursuits of excellence. We are pursuing creative ways to contribute to the Institute's culture of learning to assist in cementing its reputation as the best PsyD program in the nation.

We look forward to working with and getting to know all of you! If you are an alumni, please reach out to us either via email (jawaldman@widener.edu), Facebook, or LinkedIn, as we really want to know what you're up to. We also have a practice directory where you can list your own professional endeavors or find graduates of the program, and where the public can find a psychologist with the excellence that comes with a Widener PsyD credential.

Be sure to check back often to see what events we have planned!  To view the past issue of our Therapy Notes newsletter, please click here.

Sincerely,

Jake Waldman, PsyD, MBA, ‘13
