In 2013, I joined the Center for Social Work Education as the Director of SWCS/Assistant Professor at Widener University. My background is in medical and clinical social work. I have worked at various agencies and with numerous clients in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester and Delaware counties.
In 2005, I became a Field Supervisor, which began my journey in working with social work student interns. It was a rewarding experience, which lead me to Valley Forge Christian College in 2010, where I became the Field Placement Director/Assistant Professor. During my time at Valley Forge Christian College, I gained a wealth of knowledge regarding field placements, field supervision, and teaching social work courses. I also built relationships with agencies within Chester county community.
Joining the Center for Social Work Education is a great opportunity for me to combine my passion for education, social work and students. I look forward to building relationships with the Social Work students, the Widener Partnership Charter School and the Chester community. I believe the possibilities are endless.
