Professional Development, Social Work
The Center for Social Work Education offers continuing education credits throughout the year.
In addition to special workshops and events, Widener’s social work faculty provides special topic continuing education events. Each special topic program offers 2 CEUs. The cost is $25 for professionals. Current field instructors are invited to attend all center-sponsored CEU events free of charge.
The Center for Social Work Education is pleased to offer seven Continuing Education events for the 2017-2018 academic year! Each of our Continuing Education events is on our main campus in Chester, PA and will be in the Webb Room of the University Center. Please be sure to click the links below to register! - October 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM-3:30 PM in University Center Room C Dr. John Groce, Dr. Helen Black & Mr. Charles Harmon present: The Hidden Among the Hidden: African American Elder Male Caregivers A book signing will follow the CEU event. For those interested the book can be purchased
at the event for $35 with cash or check.*
