Fees and Eligibility

All full-time undergraduate Widener students are eligible to receive six counseling services during the Fall and Spring semesters free of charge. Full-time undergraduate students receiving counseling services are also eligible to receive psychiatric services at no charge.

All full-time graduate students are permitted up to six counseling sessions per academic year for brief targeted therapy and referrals for alternate treatment options. Based on availability, psychiatric services may be requested for graduate students receiving counseling services.

If you are unable to make your appointment we ask that you give 24-hour notice. If after-hours please leave a message with your name, ID number, cell number, and reason. We will return your call the next business day. 610.499.1261

If a mental health emergency should occur outside of the Center's operating hours, resident housing students should contact an RA or AC on duty or dial Campus Safety at 610-499-4200. Non-resident students of Widener University and graduate students should contact the nearest crisis center or hospital emergency room (Crozer Chester Hospital in Chester is the nearest to Campus) or dial #911.
