Having trouble with one or two of your courses? Can't seem to grasp a concept? Tutoring Services is here to help.
Did you know that tutoring is available for most introductory and upper level courses at Widener? It's true! A trained staff of Widener students is available throughout the academic year for one-on-one tutoring at the student's request.
For some courses — like physics, biology, and statistics — group sessions are held to foster collaboration and group learning. Students can sign up for tutoring in one of the following ways:
- Visit 522 E. 14th Street (Pineapple House) between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Monday through Friday to complete a tutor request form.
- Call or send an e-mail to Tutoring Services at 610-499-1266 or email@example.com.
- Send an e-mail to one of the tutors listed on the Fall or Spring Tutor Schedule, available on the Tutoring Services virtual office page on Campus Cruiser.
Once your request is in, you will be contacted by a tutor or staff member within 24 hours— excluding holidays and weekends.
For assistance with mathematics or essay writing, you can also visit Widener University's Math Center or Writing Center. All of the above services are included within your tuition so there are no additional fees.
