Erick Hyde Associate Director of Admissions Coordinator of International Admissions eshyde@widener.edu IM: ehyde4595 Hometown: Blue Bell, PA
Degrees: B.A., Communication, La Salle University, 2000 M.A., Professional Communication, La Salle University, 2006
Geographical / Other Responsibilities: The World International Students
Time and Experience with Widener: I joined the team in June of 2006 to start my sixth year in the field of Admissions. With Widener I get to focus on working with international students whether they're in a school in New Jersey or a school in New Delhi. The excitement of my job comes with knowing what an amazing place Widener University is, and sharing that knowledge with the rest of the planet. In my opinion, Widener is the perfect blend of personal attention, challenging academics, and a great campus - plus we're right outside of Philadelphia (the best city in the world). I encourage any international student who is thinking about attending Widener, or even those who just want to know a little more about the school, to e-mail or call me. I'll be happy to answer your questions and help you figure out if you will be Widener's next success story. The best part of my job is when I get to meet international students face-to-face, whether it's here on campus, at their high school, or in their home town. It's my hope that I get to meet even more students in the coming semesters. |

In my role as an Admissions professional, I enjoy counseling prospective students through the college search process and helping them to determine if the Widener University will be a place where they can be a successful college student. |
